Alhaji Nuhu Na-Hayatu, the son of Sarkin Fulani Dangi Muhammad (Bagudu), son of Sarkin Fulani Dangi Mai-Zanko, son of Sarkin Fulani Dangi Zangina, son of Sarkin Fulani Dangi Yusufa, was born in 1921 at Yantumaki town, he was a farmer and business man, he used to carry cattles and groundnut oil on commercial ground from Yantumaki to Lagos, he also served as agent to Ahmed Dantata, before, later Aminu (Dogo) Alasan Dan Tata at Yantumaki.
Alhaji Nuhu Na-Hayatu was the first to buy car, radio, garmaho, and sewing machine, in and out side Yantumaki (Danmusa Local Government), that is why his first born (Musa) was called Musa Dan mai keke. He was also pleasant to strangers regardless of race and tribe, with this he was called “Nuhu Na-Hayatu baka korar bako saidai bako ya nuna halinsa.” Although he was not able to obtain western education, but he was eloquent, that is why he was called “kafi alkali.” He worked with Yantumaki shari’a Court.
He bore fourteen children, but left behind five children, one wife and over two hundred grand, and grand-grand children. Na-Hayatu was demise in 2011. Rest in peace Na-Hayatu, Ameen.
